This incredible vintage set is by David-Andersen of Oslo, Norway. The rare parure includes necklace, bracelet, earrings, and brooch. Made of sterling silver with a gold vermeil wash, the pieces are finished with vitreous glass (kiln-fired) enamel over a textured surface.

Designed by Willy Winnaess for David-Andersen in the late 1950s, the design is in the form of stylized lily pads, with the leaves a rich shade of emerald green and the flowers a pearlescent white. The blossoms are applied to the leaves by means of a small rivet, and are very dimensional. The translucent enamel allows the basse-taille veining in the leaves to show through, adding extra depth to the pieces.

The necklace measures 16" and has a spring ring clasp.

The bracelet is 7 1/4" long. It has a thumb-tab clasp in good working order, and an attached safety chain.

The earrings are 7/8" by 7/8". The clip mechanisms are in good working order.

All pieces are in excellent condition, and all are signed "D-A 925S Sterling Norway," along with the Andersen scales mark and the Winnaess "W" in a circle.
